Domestic violence felonies continue to be accepted at a far lower rate than any other violent felony – only 34% of DV felonies are accepted for prosecution
A far smaller percentage of DV felony cases are closed than any other violent felony
-48% of violent felonies (non-domestic) have resulted in felony conviction
-Only 12% of closed DV felonies result in felony convictions
