We are now at 64 homicides for 2022, with 24 in March alone. This is the highest number of homicide victims in a single month since July of 2020

Carjacking still shows the highest rate of increase compared prior years – 11 more last week brings us to 101 for 2022 (+53% relative to 2021; +359% relative to 2019)

Shootings are still up considerably relative to 2019 (+148%), though there has been a slower rate of increase relative to 2021 (+13%)

Armed robbery rates appear relatively stable – the only violent crime category with no triple-digit increases since 2019
