From July 20-27, there were nine reported major violent crimes.
Incidents included six armed robberies and three nonfatal shootings, largely concentrated in the 5th (Ninth Ward/Marigny) and 6th (Central City/Garden District) Districts.
The 5th District had three armed robberies and the 6th District had two armed robberies and one nonfatal shooting.
No incidents were reported in the 1st District (Treme/Mid-City), 2nd District (Uptown/Carrollton), 3rd District (Lakeview/Gentilly), or 7th District (New Orleans East).
