The three reported major violent incidents last week are the fewest number of weekly violent incidents since the MCC began reporting on weekly violent crime.

 

There were 2 nonfatal shooting incidents in the 5th District (Ninth Ward/Marigny) and 1 armed robbery in the 3rd District (Lakeview/Gentilly)

 

Nonfatal shootings have increased +12% compared with the same time in 2025.

 

No homicides or carjacking incidents were reported last week.
