Fourth District Crime Trends

–Carjacking is up a staggering 700% in the 4th District compared with the same time in 2019 and 220% since last year

–All types of major violent crime in the 4th District are trending up in 2022 compared with prior years –

-Homicide shows the smallest (+36%) increase since 2021

-Shooting (+45%) and armed robbery (+50%) have shown modest increases since 2021
