Second District Crime Trends

‑2nd District homicide has increased 83% since 2021 and are nearly four times higher than the same time in 2019 (+267%)!

 

 

‑Armed robbery is up 75% since 2019 – higher than pre-pandemic levels – and 47% higher than 2021

 

 

‑Carjacking incidents have also increased in the 2nd District: up 50% since 2020/2021 and +200% since 2019

 

 

-Shooting incidents declined considerably between 2020-2021, but are currently at pre-pandemic numbers (+30% since 2021)
